Strengthening Our Communities with the Power of Collaborative Creativity
For years, creativity has been seen as a soft and somewhat unimportant skill.
The truth is quite different. Creativity is a powerful, innate tool, available to everyone, that has the power to:
- Strengthen communities
- Enhance the ability to work across differences
- Enables diverse groups to problem solve in powerful ways.
In other words, collaborative creativity is a power that needs nurturing and developing if we wish to solve many of the worlds most complex problems. In this talk, author, theater artist, and creativity coach Lisa Kramer begins to explore why creativity is important to both individuals and communities.
About Lisa

“I Don’t Know” - The 3 Most Powerful Words You’ll Say
You’ve been told that you always need to have all the answers. That if we don’t, then there’s something wrong with you. You aren’t smart enough, not capable enough, not good enough. Many of us have spent our lives feeling like an Impostor, dreading the moment we are caught without the solution, without the answers.
In this 10 minute talk, I will show you how you can set yourself free with these three simple words - “I don’t know.”
With the power of Compassionate Acceptance and the Art of Allowing, you will learn to quieten your inner critic and still find the answers you need without feeling like a fraud.

Breaking Free from A False Identity Brings More Energy Than a Shot of Espresso
When was the last time you asked yourself, “why am I so tired?” even after a nap or extra cup of coffee?
The answer may be that a part of you is not being authentically expressed. If that’s the case, no amount of caffeine or rest can give you the energy you crave.
Identifying what that part is, and then learning how to re-define and express it more authentically is key to feeling energized; practice and support make it possible! This talk highlights one example.
About Clara
Clara Goldberg-Freeman is an ICF certified life coach with academic training in social behavioral sciences from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. Combined with living in Tanzania and Germany and a knack for insightful understanding, Clara loves using her multi-cultural, multi-spiritual perspectives to garner creative and valuable solutions. Dr. Sylvia K.
What if loneliness didn't have to feel so lonely?
What if we could unburden ourselves from the shame that comes from hiding our loneliness?
Imagine freeing yourself from the sense of “failure” that comes with feeling lonely.
We can reframe our experience of loneliness by talking about it.
Naming it. Unshaming it. That’s my WHY behind the lonely AF movement.
I would like to invite you to join my #lonelyAF community, hear my story, and share yours.
The more we have the willingness and boldness to share our experiences of loneliness—the more we can help each other feel less lonely.
We can become conscious paradigm shifters and turn the epidemic of loneliness into a global movement for deeper connection.
About Sylvia
Dr. Sylvia Kalicinski is a therapist, podcaster, author, and leader of the Lonely AF movement. Known for her approachable outlook on brain health, Dr. Sylvia fuses mindfulness with a dash of spirituality to help clients grow through adversity and feel more connected.
The daughter of undocumented Polish immigrants, young Sylvia moved from place to place as a child. After her mother suddenly passed away, her father grieved in solitude. Sylvia lived alone in an apartment as a teenager and attended five different high schools. “Lonely” would be an understatement to describe her early life.
Today, Dr. Sylvia works with clients to explore limiting beliefs, plant seeds of connection, and blossom into possibilities of purpose and meaning.
Dr. Sylvia’s forthcoming book, Lonely AF, blends her working knowledge with the lived experience of what many are calling one of the greatest issues of our time.
Sylvia holds a a M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University.

Jayshree L. Patel
From Frozen to Flowing - Reflections of a transformational journey
Jayshree L Patel shares how a melting icicle inspired her transformation from feeling stuck to becoming an award winning children’s book author and independent publisher. Her debut children's book, One Drop, Endless Ripples explores the limitless lessons that nature teaches us about transformational journeys as water continually transforms itself and the environment it is part of.
About Jayshree
As author of her debut children's picture book, One Drop, Endless Ripples, and Founder of Ripple Press LLC, Jayshree has transformed her life from public service in New Zealand to award winning author, independent publisher, freelancer and businesswoman in the USA.
As a mother, Jayshree’s parenting, and life transformation began when her boys attended an early childhood Montessori school which offered her a new perspective on how children thrive. As an active member of the school board, she learned that children learn best when they feel safe and connected, when they feel joyful, and when they follow their curiosity. This is often best achieved when they are out in nature, learning holistically. In fact, she sees we can all benefit from being more connected with nature instead of our busy, tech-filled lives filled with stuff and endless to-do lists.
She plans to inspire children and parents through her books. Through speaking, storytelling and collaboration, she plans to make an impact on all the things she cares about: families, children, the environment, and creating a more connected and sustainable world for future generations.

How it works
FIRST, we craft.
During our workshop, you'll learn a fresh approach to creating a signature, 10-minute talk, with guidance, feedback, and the opportunity to generate, develop, and shape it.
Then, we deliver.
During our speaker showcase, you’ll present your 10-minute talk to your fellow speakers and a virtual audience, including anyone you want to invite! The showcase will be free and open to the public, and I will be promoting across my network.
Why 10 minutes?
Because it’s the sweet spot for building a talk—because if you can’t make your point in 10, you will struggle to do it in 20. The 10-minute window allows enough time for you to articulate your thought and argument, but not so much time that you can wander off. It encourages you to be economical in how you think through and organize your ideas. Plus, once you have the base of a 10-minute talk, you can dial it back to do a shorter version, or build on and expand it into a longer talk when you need to.
